The christmas cactus is a plant i clearly remember growing on our windowsills at home when i was a child (some time ago now), close to a number of money plants mum had grown.
They do receive a breeze, if there is one. It has bright green branches and dark red flowers with pointed petals. The sight of a christmas cactus in flower in the middle of the winter is something to behold. It needs watering but, like a succulent, it can store water in its leaves.
